Australian education is high on demand mainly for some of its characteristics:

  • Indian education is treated at par with Australia and Indian 12+3 is acceptable for Masters.
  • Flexible course durations of 1, 1.5 to 2 years for post graduate programs.
  • Cost of education and living amenities are very competitive with other developed countries.
  • Australian education is widely recognized worldwide and has one of the highest degrees of acceptance.
  • Research amenities and state of the art facilities are one of the best in the world.
  • Admission process is very simple and straightforward.
  • Australia has over 350000 international students and more than 40000 of them are Indians.
  • Faculties in the Universities are members of International Academic Community and recruits are one of the best in the world.
  • Alumni and graduates of Australian Universities are sought after globally, which indicates the high level of global trust over Australian education.
  • Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) scheme safeguards the interests of overseas students.
  • Australia is a safe country with a relatively warm climate suited to Indians and is one of the most powerful countries in the world.

Assurance of Standards and quality

Government of Australia has full control over the education system. Each course of an Australia University is offered a CRICOS Code by the government. Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) is a government body which provides all the information required to an overseas student regarding the courses offered and admission process.

There is no formal ranking system as the government does not have any specified Institute of interest and all the Universities are governed by the same law and strive to maintain the same quality
