Overview

MANITOBA is a Canadian province that shares its border with Ontario to the east and Saskatchewan to the west. Manitoba PNP was the first Province to start the PNP program (MPNP) in 1998. As a small province with very few people, Manitoba needs this PNP program to improve its economy by inviting skilled workers worldwide.

The applicants in the Express Entry Pool with a high CRS Score (Comprehensive Ranking System) will receive an invite to Manitoba. If you are nominated from Manitoba through the PNP program, the applicants will get additional 600 points.

Eligibility to apply for this stream:

  • Have a Job offer from an eligible Employer in Manitoba with a minimum one-year contract.
  • Must have sufficient funds.

GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PATHWAY: Manitoba PNP

Eligibility to apply for this stream:

  • The Candidate must have a Graduate Certificate from a University in Manitoba.
  • Must be proficient in English with a minimum IELTS band of CLB7 (Listening 7, Reading 6, Speaking 6, Writing 6)
  • Completed an Internship in an eligible Industry or a Research Organization.
  • At the time of application it is not mandatory to have a job offer.
  • Must have sufficient funds or you must be full time employee for a Manitoba employer.
  • At the time of application the candidate must be living in Manitoba.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ENTREPRENEUR PILOT: Manitoba PNP

Eligibility to apply for this stream:

  • The candidate must submit a Business Plan as a part of the application..
  • The candidate must have experience as a senior manager for an employer in Manitoba.
  • Must be proficient in English with minimum IELTS band of CLB7 (Listening 7, Reading 6, Speaking 6, Writing 6).
  • Complete a Post-Secondary education in Manitoba for at least 2 years. This must be a full-time education.
  • Age of the candidate must be between 21 – 35 years.
  • At the time of application the candidate must have a valid work permit or Post Graduate work permit..
  • Must live in Manitoba continuously after graduation..
  • Must have sufficient funds and must meet the low income cut-off. If the candidate is single the funds required for 12 months is 25,920CAD, for every dependent it will additional 6,984CAD.

Business Investor Stream

To migrate to Manitoba through this stream, there are 2 pathways:

  • Entrepreneur Pathway.
  • Farm Investor Pathway.

ENTREPRENUER PATHWAY: Manitoba PNP

Eligibility to apply for this stream:

  • The Candidate must have minimum 3 years of work experience as a Senior Manager or a Business owner (must own a minimum 33$ of the business) in Manitoba. The company must provide a full-time job for a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • The net worth of the Candidate must be a minimum of 500,000CAD
  • Must be proficient in English with a minimum IELTS band of CLB5 (Listening 5, Reading 4, Speaking 5, Writing 5)
  • The Candidate's education must be equivalent to a Canadian High School certificate.

STEPS INVOLVED IN APPLYING

  • Check the eligibility to apply.
  • Submit an Expression of Interest and also a Business Plan.
  • Pay the Visa fees of 2,500CAD.
  • Sign a BPA (Business Performance Agreement) after the application is approved.
  • Obtain a Temporary Work Permit.
  • Establish your Business in Manitoba.

FARM INVESTOR PATHWAY: Manitoba PNP

STEPS INVOLVED IN APPLYING

  • Check if the Candidate s eligible to apply.
  • Follow the guidelines and complete the Farm Business Concept Form.
  • Submit your Expression of Interest application to Manitoba PNP
  • The application will be assessed, and the Candidate will receive the nomination from MPNP.
  • Apply to Permanent Residency after receiving the nomination.
  • Establish Your Farm Business in Manitoba.

How to Apply For Manitoba PNP

  • Step 1: Submit an Express Entry Profile. This profile must indicate that you are working for an employer in Manitoba.
  • Step 2: Be invited to submit Manitoba PNP application.
