Steps to Apply for Passport in India

1. In order to apply for Passport login to website.

2. If you do not have any account, register a new account.

3. Create a User ID and Password.

4. Login to the Account with the created User ID and Password.

5. Click on the Apply for fresh passport/Reissue of Passport

6. Hit on click here to fill the application form online.

7. Fill all the relevant details

8. Preview the application, if fine submit the application.

9. After submitting you get the page where you can schedule the appointment.

10. Click on Schedule appointment and select the location where you want apply.

11. Select the mode of Payment you want to pay.

12. You can pay through Debit card/credit card/net banking or you can also pay through filling a challan at SBI Bank After making the payment prints the application receipt.

13. Carry your original documents on the the appointment date to passport office.

14. After submitting your documents, it takes about 1 month for you to get your new passport.
